Can it wait, or does it need care now?
Sudden, severe or worsening symptoms are a reason to call your doctor or emergency services before you read anything here.
For the routine side, we compare public health guidance with medical society statements and mark where they disagree.
Then pick a local guide for Stockton and Lodi and bring your questions to a licensed clinician.

Two options, side by side
Can it wait, or does it need care now?
The first question is which symptoms can wait for a routine visit and which need care right away. If a symptom is sudden, severe or getting worse, call your doctor or emergency services before you read anything else.
Our local guides cover Stockton and Lodi. They are for the questions that come after that first sorting step: which kind of provider fits, what to ask, and what to compare.
Four guides to local care
We write ranked guides for four kinds of care that people often search for in the Stockton and Lodi area:
- Bioidentical hormone providers. For background before you book, the Menopause Society's patient page on hormone therapy is a good place to read first.
- Medical weight loss programs.
- Weight loss clinics, including ones that may offer prescription medication.
- Integrative medicine practices.
Each guide states how we ranked the providers, shows where the information came from, and notes what is unavailable. A ranking is a starting point for your questions. It does not replace a conversation with a licensed clinician.
What the provider guides report
For local providers, we read what each practice says about its own services and its Google listing, and write down what we found. Where a source does not say something, we say so instead of filling the gap. We also keep urgent and routine concerns apart: anything that could be urgent is a reason to call your doctor, not a reason to keep reading.
Who we reviewed

Most of the practices we reviewed are in Stockton, with Sanara Medicine in Lodi as the one provider outside it. They range from medical clinics and wellness centers to acupuncture, chiropractic and massage practices, including Vita Marie Aesthetics & Wellness, Uyayi Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine and Valley Allergy + Wellness. Not every practice offers every service, which is why each guide ranks on one stated measure instead of a general impression.
Before you book
Start with the guide closest to the decision in front of you, and check the methodology note above its list before you trust the order. Ask each provider what is included, who delivers the care, and what it costs before you commit. If cost is a worry, you can look at coverage options on Covered California before you book.
The local guides cover the routine side only, so nothing in them can tell you whether your own symptom is urgent.
